The other night in Tucson, our president gave a speech at the memorably of all those that die in the shooting. STOP! Don’t start thinking politics! The speech had many fine words. The ones I will most remember is his saying (To the effect); “We must take the time to tell the people that we love, that we love them. Not just this one time, but every day.”
Today, while walking along the University grounds, I overheard a young man that was standing on the sidewalk, speaking to the driver in a stopped automobile, say; “I love you and will see you tonight.” I hope he does get to see them tonight and tomorrow night and that everyday of his life he can tell them he loves them. For the people that lost friends and family in the shooting, sadly, they will never get the chance again.
It's time for a little Chicken Soup for the Soul.
